West Swell is an up and coming Reggae/Rock band from the South Bay in Los Angeles, CA. They are very musically diverse which helps them come together and write unique, new music. Undeniably one of the best young bands out of the South Bay, West Swell’s sound may be compared to other well-known bands like The Expendables, Pacific Dub, and Tomorrows Bad Seeds. West Swell’s popularity has grown quickly, considering that the band has only been together for eight months. The three original band members, Steven Ingraham (vocals/guitar), Marcus “Stomper” Vicari (bass), and Joseph Fleming (drums) were recently joined by the newest band member, Tyler Wennstrom (lead guitar). West Swell also entertains with its energy and by Marcus’ unusual dance moves while slappin’ the bass, earning him his nickname. West Swell has shared the stage with well known bands such as Tomorrows Bad Seeds, The B Foundation, Pacific Dub, The Pricks, Ooklah The Moc, One Drop, Fortunate Youth, Seedless, Through the Roots, Sand Section, Thrive, The Holdup, and Sinizen.
