Philly artist JAY D CLARK plays feel-good roots, reggae, rock, blues, funky soulful grooves w/conscious, catchy lyrical hooks sung by a powerfully sweet voice. JDC has worked on many projects, as a writer, producer, musician, singer, director, actor, and artist. He honed his vast and varied skills while working on movies, photo shoots & commercials, between periods of intense screenwriting & songwriting. Clark now is focused on his PhillySmooth Productions, founded in 2002. He finished the Fall of the City music album in 2008, co-produced with Chuck Treece (McRad, Bad Brains, Pearl Jam, G Love, The Roots, Slightly Stoopid, Dre Dre, Billy Joel, The Movement, Mike Pinto...). Now working on new muisc & other film & tv projects... Treece & Clark first worked together on the historical science-fiction series Order of the Quest. The soundtrack was created by Treece & rap legend Schoolly D....Question everything.
