Dub Gideon is a 5 piece unit rooted deep in the foundations of Nyabinghi/Roots/Rastafari/Reggae music, and as musically expansive as a tree planted by the rivers of water. Drawing from years of experience, musical discipline, and respect for the fundamentals of authentic reggae music, Dub Gideon has created a uniques sound as an Original Dub Band.

Since early 2009, Dub Gideon has performed several high profile shows throughout Central Texas, including a SXSW-related event in 2010, and have repeatedly wowed every audience they have had the privilege to perform for.

Beyond wanting to play music as a passion, Dub Gideon is committed to maintaining the integrity of 'message music', and realize the power that music has to bring about greater consciousness. In Essence, Dub Gideon is a concept. Dub Gideon is an Idea. Dub Gideon is a Movement. The Concept, Idea, and Movement are rooted in healing, truth, and unity.

The individual members of Dub Gideon have come together to create a vehicle for their unique musical expressions in order to humbly offer the best of ourselves, musically and consciously, to bring healing to ourselves and to those we are privileged to play for.

Dub Gideon is currently collaborating with Shanx (originally of The Roots Revealers) and preparing for a November tour of California. We give thanks for the opportunity to be heard, and we hope that our music brings satisfaction and joy to all who hear our sound!! Blessed Love!
