Artist Bio / Album InfoCornerstone Dub's 'Dub The Mood' begins with the trombone laiden waves of sound, catchy guitar riffs, and peppy rythyms on the track 'New Shoes' that starts you off on the right foot. D.L.M.D.U. or Don't Lock My Doggies Up is a whitty town about run-in's with the dog catcher that had me laughing and hitting the replay, an instant classic. Album continues with Timmy Aukerman's brassy tones and tamborine get you swaying, Billy Eltiste's snappy clever lyrics get you nodding and smiling while the ever present bassline pounds your gut, thanks to Ted Kastl. Holding down the rythym section is the hard-hitting Shane Venhaus who wails on his drums with a stage presence and swagger reminiscent of the big bands of the 80's. Cornerstone Dub 'Dub The Mood' offers the listetener a full dose of laid back - chilled out - reggae music. A must have. - Jim Dupont |
